Windmill at Day’s End

Wind power is not new. Long before engineers began to design today’s wind turbines, farmers and ranchers understood the benefit of wind power. As soon as the well was dug, the windmill would be constructed overhead to provide the power to bring water to the surface to fill outdoor tanks for livestock.
