New York City is a mix of many cultures. In a park near Chinatown, men are seriously concentrating on the game in front of them. The cool evenings are a great time to get together with friends and relax. Despite their serious expressions in this image, moments later they are smiling. This scene in the park reminds me of the late afternoon in our small rural town, when a coffee break was an excuse to play a few games of cards, meet up with neighbors, and get caught up on the news.
